Activus Recruitment is hiring on behalf of our client for an experienced Plant & Vehicle Mechanic / Mobile Mechanic to join their team.

This is a varied role for either a workshop-based mechanic in Oldmeldrum or a mobile mechanic for support across client sites throughout Scotland and the UK.

Key Duties

• Service, maintain, and repair small plant machinery and vehicles
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently
• Complete inspections and preventative maintenance
• Attend site breakdowns and provide mobile support
• Maintain records, tools, and safe working practices

What We’re Looking For

• Mechanical experience with small plant, commercial, agricultural, or fleet vehicles
• Strong fault-finding skills
• Ability to work independently 
• Flexible to travel when required
• Full UK Driving Licence
