About the Role:
Activus Recruitment is partnering with a well-established, employee-owned environmental consultancy to recruit an experienced Estimator. The business delivers site investigation and remediation solutions across a wide range of sectors, supporting projects from small-scale works through to major developments.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing organisation where you’ll play a key role in securing and shaping project delivery.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities
  • Ensuring all tender documentation is reviewed and approved prior to issue
  • Managing contractual queries, including variations from standard forms
  • Reviewing successful and unsuccessful bids to identify improvements and lessons learned
  • Procuring subcontractors to achieve best value for projects
  • Reviewing and improving estimating templates, processes, and terms

Candidate Requirements:

Essential:

  • Minimum 5 years’ estimating experience (ideally within remediation and/or site investigation)
  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or relevant experience
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Strong IT skills (MS Office)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
