What You’ll Be Doing
- Assembling, testing, and repairing air hoists and other lifting equipment
- Identifying and rectifying faulty or damaged mechanical equipment
- Working with pneumatic and/or hydraulic systems (advantageous)
- Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with company procedures
- Working both independently and as part of an established team
- Time served Mechanical Engineer (or equivalent)
- Previous experience repairing hoists or lifting equipment (advantageous, but not essential)
- Experience with pneumatics or hydraulics desirable
- Self-motivated with good problem-solving skills
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and detail-focused
- Comfortable working on your own initiative or within a team
