Location: Kintore 
Hours: 40 hours per week (Mon–Thurs 8:00am–4:30pm, Fri 7:30am–4:00pm)
Salary: National Minimum Wage (NMW)

Activus Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a valued client in the search for an Administrator on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave.

The Role

This is a varied administrative position where you will provide essential support across multiple departments, helping ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process service and rental orders in line with company procedures
  • Arrange travel for offshore personnel
  • Compile technical documentation packs for service and rental jobs
  • Process monthly invoices for service and rental activities
  • Handle accounts payable invoices
  • Provide administrative support to the sales team
  • Carry out general office duties including filing, scanning, and call handling
  • Welcome visitors and provide a professional front-of-house service
  • Assist other departments as required, including cover for absences
  • Maintain organised and tidy workspaces
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and health & safety standards

About You

  • Previous experience in an administrative or office-based role preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Good communication skills and a professional manner
  • Competent in Microsoft Office (Sage 200 experience desirable)
  • Able to prioritise workload and work under own initiative
  • Positive, reliable, and willing to learn
  • Full UK driving licence preferred
