Administrator (Fixed-Term – 12 Month Maternity Cover)
Location: Kintore
Hours: 40 hours per week (Mon–Thurs 8:00am–4:30pm, Fri 7:30am–4:00pm)
Salary: National Minimum Wage (NMW)
Activus Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a valued client in the search for an Administrator on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave.
The Role
This is a varied administrative position where you will provide essential support across multiple departments, helping ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Process service and rental orders in line with company procedures
- Arrange travel for offshore personnel
- Compile technical documentation packs for service and rental jobs
- Process monthly invoices for service and rental activities
- Handle accounts payable invoices
- Provide administrative support to the sales team
- Carry out general office duties including filing, scanning, and call handling
- Welcome visitors and provide a professional front-of-house service
- Assist other departments as required, including cover for absences
- Maintain organised and tidy workspaces
- Ensure compliance with company policies and health & safety standards
About You
- Previous experience in an administrative or office-based role preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Good communication skills and a professional manner
- Competent in Microsoft Office (Sage 200 experience desirable)
- Able to prioritise workload and work under own initiative
- Positive, reliable, and willing to learn
- Full UK driving licence preferred
