Concrete Screed Layer – Team Leader

Activus Recruitment are working on behalf of a well‑established flooring specialist based in Aberdeenshire.

Established in 2008, with around 18 years of industry experience, our client has built a strong reputation for supplying and fitting high‑quality flooring to both domestic and commercial customers. 

Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an experienced Concrete Screed Layer to join their team. This is a supervisory role where you will be responsible for leading site teams, ensuring high‑quality workmanship, and managing day‑to‑day operations in an efficient and effective manner.

The successful candidate will have experience in liquid concrete screed works, strong organisational abilities, and a proactive approach to overseeing projects of varying size and complexity. This role would suit a team leader who takes pride in their work, has a passion for quality, and enjoys responsibility on site.

• Managing and supervising a team of skilled operatives
• Working to detailed height and level specifications
• Organising plant, materials, and equipment for works
• Delivering projects to agreed programmes and deadlines
• Ensuring health & safety procedures are implemented and maintained
• Carrying out quality checks to ensure high standards are met

Personal Requirements

• Experience in concrete and screeding works
• Proven leadership and supervisory skills
• A strong commitment to producing high‑quality workmanship
• SSSTS or SMSTS (desirable)
• Valid CSCS card
• Clean driving licence preferred
