Ad-Hoc Front of House - Hospitality

About the Role

Activus Recruitment are seeking, on behalf of our client, reliable and customer-focused Front of House for ad-hoc shifts.

This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and take pride in delivering exceptional guest experiences. Successful candidates will be personable, professional, and confident in engaging with visitors while maintaining high standards of service and presentation.

Waitress – Wednesday 5^th August – Approximately 4pm – 8pm
Waitress – Thursday 6^th August – Timings TBC (Will have this information by the end of the week but will be during the day for a funeral tea)
Waitress – Friday 7^th August – Approximately 12:30pm – 3:30pm
High Skilled Waitress/Bar Team Member – Saturday 8^th August – Approximately 2pm – 10pm

Key Responsibilities

• Greeting and assisting guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Acting as the first point of contact for visitors and responding to enquiries
• Creating a welcoming and positive environment
• Ensuring public areas remain presentable and inviting
• Supporting the smooth delivery of hospitality and event services
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to provide an excellent guest experience
• Managing face-to-face and telephone enquiries efficiently
• Upholding company standards of professionalism and customer care

Requirements

• Previous experience in a Front of House, hospitality, reception, events, guest services, or customer-facing role would be advantageous
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Excellent customer service skills
• Reliable, punctual, and well organised
• Ability to remain calm and professional in busy environments
• Flexible approach to working hours
