Activus Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting experienced Steel Fixers on behalf of our client for permanent roles across Aberdeenshire and the Highlands.

We're looking for reliable, hardworking individuals with a strong work ethic and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Applicants must live within Aberdeenshire or the Highlands due to the location of ongoing projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting out and installing mesh reinforcement to specification.
• Fixing reinforcement steel (rebar) accurately and efficiently.
• Reading and working from engineering drawings and site plans.
• Ensuring all work meets quality standards and project specifications.
• Maintaining clean, organised, and safe working areas.
• Working closely with site teams to ensure projects are completed safely and on schedule.
• Following all health and safety procedures at all times.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a Steel Fixer.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• CSCS card preferred (or willingness to obtain if required).
• Full UK driving licence.
