Activus Recruitment is working on behalf of a well-established, Architectural business based in Inverurie, Aberdeenshire. Due to continued growth, our client is seeking a motivated Architectural Technician, Part II Architectural Assistant, or Architect to join their team.

Working as part of an experienced and friendly design team, you’ll contribute to the delivery of high-quality construction projects from initial concept to on-site delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

• Producing detailed construction drawings using AutoCAD and Revit
• Assisting with site coordination and design support
• Working closely with architects, engineers, and contractors
• Supporting planning, building warrant, and CDM compliance
• Helping to develop and refine project solutions for cost, efficiency, and buildability
• Participating in team discussions and collaborative design processes

You’ll ideally bring:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Word & Excel
• Experience or interest in Revit (training will be provided if needed)
• A strong eye for detail and architectural construction drawings
• An understanding of CDM 2015 and planning/warrant procedures
• Strong in building regulations, time management, communication, and teamwork skills
• A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites
• Leadership experience is welcome but not essential
