Activus Recruitment is delighted to be working on behalf of a well-established, multi-disciplinary construction company who are looking for experienced Groundworkers to join their site teams across Scotland.

With over 30 years of experience delivering projects across the UK, our client has an excellent reputation within the construction industry. Their expertise spans concrete works, civil engineering and main contracting, delivering a diverse range of projects such as transport depots, distilleries, schools, energy schemes and others across Scotland and beyond.

The Role

We are looking for experienced and reliable Groundworkers to join our client's construction teams on a temp-to-perm basis, with the opportunity for the right candidates to move into permanent employment.

The role will involve a range of groundworks activities, working as part of a wider site team to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Duties may include:

• General groundworks
• Drainage and excavation
• Foundations
• Concrete works
• Kerbing, ducting and associated civil works
• Assisting with other site duties as required

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Groundworker is essential
• Good knowledge of groundworks, drainage, foundations and concrete works
• Valid CSCS card essential
• Machine/plant tickets desirable but not essential
• Full UK driving licence and access to transport desirable
• Willingness to travel to different sites across Scotland throughout the week
• Ability to work effectively as part of a site team
• Reliable, hardworking and committed approach to work

Company van pick-up may be available from certain locations, depending on the project and candidate's location.
