Quantity Surveyor

Activus Recruitment are seeking a qualified Quantity Surveyor based in the Inverness area to join our client, a well established Civils and Construction Company with over 30 years in the industry.

The Role:

• Preparation of Interim Valuations
• Final Account negotiations and settlement
• Cost Valuation Reporting
• Identify and pricing variations
• Carry out site visits on a regular basis
• Preparation of material requisitions
• Liaise with clients and attend client meetings
• Analysis of project costs
• Managing subcontractor appointment and valuations

Personal Requirements

• Excellent eye for detail and a comprehensive approach.
• You will be highly experienced in reading and accurately interpreting drawings and technical specifications.
• Excellent communication skills
• Highly motivated and organised individual
• Experience of various construction methods
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
• Excellent understanding of commercial issues.
• Competent in the use of computer packages

Salary will be based on experience.
